A Special Occasion Venue

At The Sale Barn at Callaway Farms, we can bring your wedding and special event ideas to fruition. Our rustic Event Venue offers everything you can dream of to ensure a memorable experience for you and your guests!

The Callaway Sale Barn was originally built by the Callaway family to hold their annual cattle auctions. With their retirement from the livestock industry, the barn sat idle, occasionally being rented by an area cattleman for a cow sale, but mostly unused.  

In 2019, after working for the Callaway family for many years, Troy McTier purchased their cattle, leased their pastures and McTier Family Farms became an independent cattle operation.

Upon our daughter’s engagement, the decision was made to have her wedding ceremony in the field in front of the barn – and the idea for an event venue was born.  Hannah and Ben’s wedding was the first official venue booking to take place at the barn.

The Sale Barn is the perfect location for celebrating special events such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, high school reunions, birthday parties, anniversary parties, and Christmas or holiday parties for the office or family.

The Sale Barn features tiered seating with a small stage for ceremonies on the lowest level in the interior.  There is a walk through kitchen with buffet windows, indoor restrooms, a covered front and side porch, a bride’s room, and a beautiful country setting.  Several locations in the pastures are perfect for outdoor weddings or have it indoors if you prefer.
